DOCTORAL PROGRAMMES
Currently a series of doctoral programmes are offered at HKMA in collaboration with institutions from the UK, Switzerland, France and Malaysia, forming a hub of doctoral education outside the local university sector.
The programme is featured by Learning Labs which advocates a reflexive and agile learning experience. Research Methods Modules are in place to help thinkers to ground practice in frameworks, concepts, models and research. The programme is achievable in 3 years.
The DBA programme is an integrated coursework and research programme through part-time study. Coursework component consists of 8 courses for the first year and lecture seminars will be held over the weekend. Completion time is 2.5 years, maximum completion time is up to 5 years.
The DBA programme is a professional doctorate which provides a structured programme of study through taught modules, closely integrated with an individual's professional career development. It is a 3-year programme and is designed to meet the needs of professionals working in Business Administration and Management related areas.
The PhD is offered by The Graduate School of Business at Universiti Sains Malaysia and is a research based programme. Programme components include workshops, supervisor visits and video conference. The standard and maximum duration of the programme are 3.5 years and 5 years.
