- To promote a high standard of professionalism in ICT management; |

- To promote the understanding and recognition of ICT as a profession and its importance to business success; |

- To keep members abreast of the latest trends in ICT management through organizing various activities related to the ICT management; and |
| |
- To provide members with a platform for the exchange of ideas, networking, and personal development on ICT management. |

Membership shall be open to persons who are individual members or nominated representatives of corporate/charter members of the HKMA, and who are engaged in any one of the following fields: |

- - ICT professionals in any industry, commerce, government or non-government organizations;
- - Executives whose roles in organizations involve responsibility for implementation or decision on ICT policies or procedures;
- - Executives whose positions in organizations utilize IT to facilitate business operations;
- - Executives who are interested in ICT management.
