The programme aims at providing students with the relevant knowledge and practical skills in accounting and finance. This programme can enhance the employability of the students and well-prepare them for the next higher level in both their study paths and their career developments.
Programme Objectives
- to provide the students with the accounting and financial techniques that are practical at work.
- to equip the students with the required accounting and financial knowledge to obtain the Pearson LCCI professional qualifications.
- to prepare the students for furthering their studies to under-graduate programmes and other professional levels.
Students can register as Private Candidates to take the Pearson LCCI examinations. LCCI Diplomas are a recognised, effective way of combining subjects in related fields to create a comprehensive demonstration of ability, skills and knowledge. Programme Structure
The whole programme comprises 6 modules, with 280 lecture hours in total. Only students whose attendance meets the minimum of 70% shall be permitted to sit for the final examinations. Those who pass the internal examination will be awarded a single subject certificate by the HKMA. Upon successful completion of 6 subjects with a maximum period of 5 years, participants will be awarded a "Professional Diploma in Accountancy" by the HKMA.

Award of LCCI Diplomas
- Students will be awarded a "Level 2 Diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting" by LCCI if they pass the Level 2 LCCI examinations in the core module 1 and any two modules in the module 2, 3 or 5 within 6 months.
- Students will be awarded a "Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Finance" or "Level 3 Group Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting" by LCCI if they pass the Level 3 LCCI examinations in module 3, 4 and 6 within 12 months.

Exemptions
- Applicants who have completed equivalent module in programmes offered by HKMA or other institutions may apply for exemption. Copies of the course syllabus, certificates and/or transcripts attained should be attached to the Exemption Application Form.
- Applicants may be exempted a total of ONE subject from the programme. Successful applicants will be exempted from taking both the module and the internal examination. The course fee of the exempted module will be waived. However, the applicant will still need to take the relevant LCCI examination to acquire the professional qualifications.
