The Hong Kong Management Association 58th Annual Fellowship Dinner and Launching Ceremony of Academy for Retail Innovation and Management (ARIM) was held successfully at InterContinental Hong Kong on Thursday, 15 November 2018. Dato Seri Cheah Cheng Hye, Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Value Partners Group was the Guest of Honour of the occasion and delivered an inspiring speech to 500 members and guests. The Launching Ceremony of the Academy for Retail Innovation and Management (ARIM) was held and proudly announced by its Chairman, Mr Kent Wong. The ARIM aims to offer advanced retail management courses and to serve as a learning platform for retail practitioners with a view to making significant contributions to advancing management excellence in the retail sector in Hong Kong and mainland China; to provide a network for experts to interact with retail professionals and practitioners; and to promote best practices and innovative ideas relevant to the retail sector.
Fellow and Charter Membership On the occasion, 13 new Fellows and Charter Members were presented. Fellows are individuals who have distinguished themselves in the management field either by example or by contributing towards the general body of theory, philosophy and management practice. Management Development Credit Unit (MDCU) Award To recognize the achievement of companies in staff training and human resources development, three companies were awarded the Management Development Credit Unit (MDCU) Awards. Hospital Authority was awarded "Most Significant Growth Award".
