University of Huddersfield Offers
High Quality Fast-track Top-up BA (Hons) Programmes in Hong Kong

The University of Huddersfield has launched its Bachelor of Arts (Hons) programmes in Hong Kong in partnership with The Hong Kong Management Association since 2009. The programmes have now become one of the most welcomed programmes among students with the following distinctive advantages: fully taught by UK faculty, flexible study mode, and fast track - can be complete within one year part-time study.

Fully Taught by UK Faculty
All BA (Hons) programmes will be conducted through an offshore block teaching mode, fully taught "face to face" by University of Huddersfield academic faculty. This guarantees that students will receive the latest knowledge from staff that is at the cutting edge of their professions. Along with the measures including regular performance appraisal and continuous student feedback, the high-standard teaching quality is ensured.

Fast Track with Quality
The University of Huddersfield and HKMA offer the BA (Hons) as a continuing professional education programme through part-time study. The whole BA (Hons) degree comprises 360 credits. The Hong Kong programme is the final stage of the degree offering students with appropriate academic and professional achievements entry with Advanced Standing status. It means that students entering the Hong Kong programme are automatically given 240 credits exemption from the full programme and is able to complete the programme within twelve to twenty-four months.

The programmes offered in Hong Kong are intensive part-time programmes in a number of fields including:

  • BA (Hons) Marketing Management
  • BA (Hons) Global Business and Logistics Management
  • BA (Hons) International Business


BA (Hons) Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management course is designed to deliver a core of business subjects that will meet the needs of students wishing to pursue a career in any branch of business or the public sector. In addition, the course contains HRM modules which allow students to develop this specialism. The course covers people resourcing, human resource development, employment relations and study of culture, society and strategy.

BA (Hons) Marketing Management
The development of management skills and knowledge coupled with the strong marketing background provided by this course will equip students for an exciting and rewarding future management role in areas such as brand and product management and communications. Throughout this course students will gain the business management skills and knowledge required to meet the demands of a globalized and dynamic marketing world.

BA (Hons) Global Business and Logistics Management
The Global Business and Logistics Management Course aims to provide students with the knowledge, understanding and transferable skills essential to organizations looking for tomorrow`s leaders and managers who will be capable of understanding the role of logistics within a management framework. This course covers strategic management, quality and enhancing business performance whilst ensuring that students understand, and appreciate, international and cultural business issues.

BA (Hons) International Business
Today`s executives require a global business outlook. The demands of multinational clients and the demands of a regional role requires that executives possess a broad range of skill sets that address market understanding, strategic insights and communication skills. This course is intended for students who are anticipating careers in international management. This degree aims to provide students with a good grounding in the knowledge and skills required in today`s fast changing business and management arena whilst allowing them to specialize in international business.
