HKMA Theme Year Luncheon Talk on "The Hong Kong Economy at Crossroads: The Importance of Education And Lifelong Learning" by Professor EDWARD K Y CHEN

If Hong Kong is to stay competitive in this changing world, government, companies and individuals must all work towards the common goal of increasing the human asset value through investments into lifelong learning and training and development.

Organized by the 2001 Theme Year Working Party of The Hong Kong Management Association, a luncheon talk on "The Hong Kong Economy at Crossroads: the Importance of Education and Lifelong Learning" will be held on Thursday, 7 June 2001. The Guest Speaker for the function will be Professor Edward Chen, President of Lingnan University.

This event is the first in the series of activities in support of the 2001 Theme, "Succeeding Through Lifelong Learning", organized by the 2001 Theme Year Working Party of the Association.
