Six Finalists Shortlisted for Training Excellence

Organized by the Hong Kong Management Association since 1990, the aim of the Award for Excellence in Training is to give public recognition to trainers and companies, for the contribution that training can make to corporate results.

Out of 30 entries this year, six training programmes have been selected for the Final Judging.

The six finalists are:

The six finalists will share with the business community details of their training programme objectives, contents, implementation and outcomes at an open seminar, "Benchmark Your Training Practices with Some of the Excellent Companies". The seminar is combined with the final round of the competition for the Award for Excellence in Training and is the only real case experience-sharing seminar ever held in Hong Kong. Details are as follows:

At the seminar, the Gold, Silver, Bronze Prizes and Certificates of Merit recipients will be chosen by the Panel of Adjudicators. A recipient of the Best Presentation Award will be selected by all the participants of the seminar. The winner of the Panda-Recruit Most Innovative Award will be chosen from amongst the entries by the Board of Examiners. Results of the Award will be announced at the luncheon following the seminar. The Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 18 September 2001 at the Sixteenth Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture, at which winners of the Award will be presented with trophies or certificates.

Mr Patrick Maule, Managing Director, Patrick Maule and Associates, will deliver a keynote speech on "Contribution that Training can make to Business Success" during the seminar.
