Grand Opening of HKMA Tsim Sha Tsui Management Development Centre

In order to meet the needs of students and to further enhance our services, The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) developed a fully-equipped training centre at South Seas Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The opening ceremony was held on Monday, 4 July 2016 and officiated by Mr Alfred Chan, Chairman of the Association.

During the opening ceremony, Mr Chan said, "We understand that a favourable learning environment multiplies the productivity and effect of training and development initiatives. Therefore, we have devoted our efforts in developing this facility into a new state-of-the-art management learning centre with advanced interactive technology and telecommunication systems. Situated at an easily accessible location at Tsim Sha Tsui, this Centre will certainly facilitate an up-to-date learning experience for executives participating in our programmes."

The HKMA Management Development Centre
The Centre is located in Tsim Sha Tsui East (3/F, Tower 2, South Seas Centre, 75 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) and well served by different public transportation. It just takes around 5-minute walk from the nearest Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR Station and Hung Hom Station exits. The centre measures 13,681 square feet plus a Green Garden of 2,306 square feet. It comprises a total of six lecture rooms and a lecture theatre, which can accommodate more than 500 executives in total.

The training rooms are well-equipped with modern facilities which are suitable for multi-purpose teaching and learning activities.

  • Video Conferencing can be arranged in the Ng Teng Fong Lecture Theatre and all the lecture rooms to facilitate presentation by overseas speakers or lecturers and meetings with overseas partners.
  • This training centre is well-equipped with a "Learn and Share Portal".
  • Wireless Presentation can be arranged in the Ng Teng Fong Lecture Theatre and all lecture rooms. Participants can project their presentations with their mobiles, tablets or laptops at any of the screens to facilitate their presentation or discussion.
  • Mobiles and tablets chargers are provided in the Ng Teng Fong Lecture Theatre, all lecture rooms and the multi-purpose area.
  • The centre is well-covered by wifi.

Prestigious programmes in collaboration with world renowned universities, such as Cornell University, University of Cambridge and Yale University under the Institute of Advanced Management Development, will be conducted in this Centre. In addition, other degree, diploma and certificate programmes will also be held at this centre.
