The 2014 HKMA Annual Conference was successfully held on 11 November 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and attracted around 300 senior executives. The Conference brought together prominent business leaders who shared with participants their invaluable insight under the theme of "Achieving Dynamic Growth - Winning the Challenge for Human Capital".

Mr Alfred Chan BBS, Chairman of the Association in his Welcoming Address pointed out that, "Human resources management is a function in organizations designed to maximize employee performance in the service of their employer`s strategic objectives." Organizations should explore HR issues from different perspectives and witness how they could turn up-and-coming employees into talents through training and development.

In the Closing Address, Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges JP, Chairman, Conference Organizing Committee; and Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Jockey Club believed the Conference has been extremely fruitful as the speakers have addressed the critically important subjects and offered new perspectives to participants on some of the key issues and ideas about winning the challenge for human capital in the years ahead.
