The HKMA is awarded the Caring Organization Logo for 7 Consecutive Years

We are pleased to announce that the Hong Kong Management Association is again awarded the 5 Years Plus Caring Organization Logo by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service this year in recognition of our commitment in Caring for the Community, Caring for the Employees and Caring for the Environment over the past years. This is the seventh consecutive year since 2007 that the Association is honoured with the award of the Caring Organization Logo for having demonstrated sound corporate social responsibility.
Over the years, staff members of the Association have participated in a wide range of volunteer services and donation campaigns organized by different charitable organization. These activities include the Blood Donation Campaign of the Hong Kong Red Cross; the Dress Casual Day of the Community Chest and Po Leung Kuk Charity Walk. In addition, HKMA staff members have actively participated in environmental protection functions such as the Collection of Chinese New Year Food Campaign of the St James` Settlement, the Used Books Donation Campaign, CDs Recycling Campaign, and the Community Chest Green Day. The Association has also developed partnership with other social service organizations in promoting various social services schemes, these include the Hong Kong Bowling Tournament for All cum Hong Kong Blind Bowling Tournament organized by Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation. In the meantime, the Association organizes Susan Yuen Research Foundation Scholarship annually and regularly participates in Community Service Scholarship to provide volunteer trainers opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.
In addition, the Association has provided a family-friendly environment for employees by implementing 5-day work week policy with effect from 1 January 2014, and offering emergency financial assistance in times of need for its employees.
Launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme aims at cultivating good corporate citizenship. It is specifically geared to building strategic partnerships among businesses and non-profit organisations to create a more cohesive society.
