Widely recognized as the Oscars in the marketing field, the HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence 2013 is now open for entries.
Deadline for Entries (Campaign Awards): Friday, 19 April 2013
Deadline for Nominations (Individual Awards): Friday, 20 May 2013
Organized by The Hong Kong Management Association since 1985 and sponsored by Television Broadcasts Ltd since 1989, the Awards aim to give recognition to outstanding marketers in Hong Kong and their campaigns as a means to upgrade the standards of marketing profession.
There are two categories for the Awards namely "Campaign Awards" and "Individual Awards".
TOP 10 CAMPAIGN AWARDS FINALISTS WILL BE SELECTED
Campaign Awards
The Campaign Awards recognize the best marketing campaigns in Hong Kong as well as the companies behind them. In view of the rising standard of marketing campaigns in Hong Kong, this year, a maximum of 10 marketing campaigns will be selected for the Final Judging. Excellent marketing campaigns will be conferred with one or more of the following awards:
- Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards
- Excellence Awards
- Merit Awards
 Citation for Innovation Citation for Outstanding TV Campaign Citation for Digital Marketing Citation for Outstanding Small Budget Campaign

- Best Marketing Partner (Awarded to agencies contributing to the success of their client companies)
- Best Presentation Award (The winner will be decided by the number of votes received from participants during the Award Seminar to be held on September 2013.)

GIVING RECOGNITION TO OUTSTANDING NPOs MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
To encourage and recognize the rising standard of marketing campaigns among the non-profit organizations in Hong Kong, a separate set of Judging Criteria for NPOs has been developed since 2012.
Entries submitted by non-profit organizations will be judged based on the new judging criteria. They will go through the same judging process and compete for the Gold, Silver, Bronze Awards, Excellence Awards and Merit Awards with other entries.
Individual Awards
The Individual Awards recognize the outstanding achievement of marketers who have made significant contribution to the marketing development of their companies or clients as well as the business community. The following awards will be granted to most outstanding marketers:
- Marketer of the Year Award (selected from among the winners of the Distinguished Marketing Leadership Awards)
- Distinguished Marketer Leadership Awards
- Outstanding Marketing Professional Awards
