The HKMA Alumni Association Brings Hong Kong Top Executives Together and
Generates Opportunities for Learning and Networking

The HKMA Alumni Association (HKMAAA) Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 16th December 2011 at the HKMA CYMA Charity Fund Management Development Centre. Ms Scarlet Pong, Elected District Councillor delivered a thought-provoking speech to about 100 alumni and guests of the occasion.

During the ceremony, Dr Dennis Sun, Deputy Chairman of the Association said that the HKMA has developed a large pool of talents who have taken up most important leadership role in Hong Kong. Many alumni of the Association were successful businessmen and leaders and have contributed a lot to the community while striving for career success. Dr Sun further commented that the HKMAAA would act as a platform of providing opportunities and tools for the HKMA students and graduates to gain new knowledge and expertise and to extend their social networks.

The aims of the HKMA Alumni Association are
  • to reinforce ties between the HKMA and its graduates and promote fellowship among them;
  • to promote the goodwill of the Association and the alma mater;
  • to facilitate experience sharing and networking among alumni;
  • to promote the concept of lifelong learning.

    Membership Category
    Membership of the HKMAAA is open to persons who are members of the Hong Kong Management Association, and who are graduates or participants of programmes organized by the HKMA. There are two categories of membership:

    Full Membership
    Graduates of HKMA programmes are eligible to apply for Full Members of the HKMAAA. Full members shall be entitled to propose and vote at the HKMAAA Annual General Meeting.

    Associate Membership
    Participants of HKMA programmes are eligible to apply for Associate Members of the HKMAAA. Associate members shall not be entitled to propose and vote at the HKMAAA Annual General Meeting, but shall be upgraded to Full Membership upon graduation.
