HKMA Grants 35 Scholarships of HK$610,000 to In-service Executives Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the Hong Kong Management Association presents 35 full scholarships worth a total of HK$610,000 to in-service executives in Hong Kong. The programmes of study include Professional Diploma and Certificate programmes conducted by the Association.
The aim of the scholarships is to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It also helps to cultivate the spirit of lifelong learning and improve the competitiveness of the Hong Kong economy as a whole by nurturing local talents. Altogether $510,000 has been raised to supplement the $100,000 worth of scholarships donated by the Association.
Dr The Hon David K P Li GBM GBS JP, Chairman of the Association officiated the Presentation Ceremony this evening (Tuesday, 18 December) at the HKMA Office at the Pico Tower. Dr Albert Ma JP, Mr Joseph Sit and Dr David T K Sun BBS attended the Ceremony, showing great support to the Scheme.
Dr Li was proud to announce during the Presentation Ceremony that the Scheme has been a great success, "over one thousand executives showed keen interest in the scheme, and we received over one hundred applications that merited thorough review."
