Eminent Business Leaders Sharing Insights at
2007 HKMA Annual Conference on
"Fulfilling Hong Kong`s Global Aspirations"

5/11/2007

The 2007 HKMA Annual Conference under the theme of "Fulfilling Hong Kong`s Global Aspirations" will be held on Thursday, 8 November 2007 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Attended by over 330 senior executives every year, this annual event provided a platform for sharing experience among successful businesses. This year, the Conference will bring together prominent business leaders and Government officials who will share with participants their invaluable insight on Hong Kong`s development.

To sustain Hong Kong`s continuous development and to achieve another golden decade, the city needs to cultivate its competitive advantages. Notably, the lowering of the standard tax rate and the launch of major infrastructure projects will boost economic activities, improve the living environment, and help retain talented human capital in Hong Kong.

To meet the challenges ahead, the unique strengths of Hong Kong should be further enhanced. This Annual Conference of the Hong Kong Management Association examines a very important question – how can Hong Kong sustain its position as a world-class city? The topic will be fully explored under the theme "Fulfilling Hong Kong`s Global Aspirations".
