2007 is the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It is a memorable time for China as a whole, especially for the people of Hong Kong. To celebrate this auspicious year, the Association would present 50 full scholarships worth a total of HK$550,000 to in-service executives in Hong Kong. The programmes of study will include Professional Diploma and Certificate programmes conducted by the Association.

The HKMA Scholarships include a whole spectrum of courses for career advancement. The scholarships aim at improving the general competitiveness of the Hong Kong economy as a whole by nurturing local talents, which is highly supported by the business community.

The scholarship highlights the importance of continuous education. "It is true that experience can be accumulated through on-job training. On the other hand, since we are under a business environment with keen competition, qualification and up-to-date industry information are needed to keep ourselves ahead of others," said Glover Chan, Spokesman of HKMA.
