There are two categories for the Awards, namely "Campaign Awards" and "Individual Awards".
Campaign Awards
This year, the Campaign Awards attracted a number of quality entries from a wide spectrum of industries such as banking and finance, entertainment, food & beverage, hotel, properties, public utilities, retail, telecommunications, educations institutes, travel agencies and so forth.
All the participating companies are required to submit a five-page write-up summarizing the objectives, strategies and results of their marketing programmes. A Board of Examiners combining the Marketing Management Committee and the Marketing Awards Organizing Committee will then shortlist the six most outstanding campaigns for final presentation. The judging will be based on a number of criteria including rationale behind the marketing campaign; strategic intent encompassing product/service development and positioning, pricing, product distribution or service delivery system to target-users, communication/promotion to target audience, people issues, overall integration of campaign elements; originality of the campaign; results as measured against objectives; and other meritorious elements of the marketing programme such as creativity, tracking methods, customer orientation, etc.
The Final Judging will be held on Saturday, 1 September 2007 at the Association during which the judges will decide on the Gold, Silver and Bronze Prize winners as well as the three Certificate of Excellence recipients.
