PRIMEJobs (www.primejobs.hk) of the Hong Kong Management Association is awarded the Excellence Prize of the Web Care Award 2006 organized by the Internet Professional Association (iProA).

The Web Care Award is a recognition scheme to acknowledge organizations that build no barrier websites. PRIMEJobs is recognized for adding some special features such as providing a clear site map and a clear meaning for graphical icon and image; enhancing colour contrast; minimizing the use of flash; and providing an alternate choice of word/RTF file format other than PDF which have greatly enhanced the accessibility of the website and enabled the disabled to enjoy surfing on the web.

The Presentation Ceremony was held on 28 October 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Receiving the Award from Mr Cheung Woon Hang, Chief Systems Manager of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer HKSAR and Dr Elizabeth Quat, President of iProA, Mr Timothy Fong, Assistant Director of The Hong Kong Management Association expressed that "It is a great honour for the Hong Kong Management Association to receive this meaningful award and be one of the first group to have achieved W3C international web accessibility standard in Hong Kong. As a caring organization which puts heavy emphasis on social responsibility, the Association will continue its effort in meeting the needs of different people to ensure the sustainable growth and development of our society."
