of Newcastle, Australia will be offering a Master of
Business * (MB) programme.

Fast Track
The Master of Business is a 15-month part-time programme. It consists
of 6 specializations including general management, marketing management,
human resource management, financial management, international management
and information technology management. Each specialization comprises 8
course units (6 core management course units and 2 professional specialization
course units) delivered in four terms of 8 weeks study schedule. Each
course unit involves 36 hours of face-to-face teaching, which will be
delivered as intensive seminars in Hong Kong, by lecturers from Newcastle
Graduate School of Business (NGSB) or Newcastle Business School (NBS).
Each intensive seminar will be held on two consecutive weekends and two
Fridays evening.
Direct Entry to DBA
Upon completion, students will be awarded the Master of Business Degree
by the University of Newcastle, Australia. Graduates will have direct
entry to Year 2 of the Doctor of Business Administration programme offered
by the University.
It is expected that the specialization in General Management will be first

- A Bachelor degree from an approved institution with minimum two
years relevant experience; or
- A recognized Diploma from an approved institution with minimum

Non-Local Higher & Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance and
is expected to have the formal approval by May 2004.)
