"HKMA ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" NOW OPENS FOR ENTRY
|
The Hong Kong Management Association is pleased to announce the launch of the "HKMA Annual Scholarship Scheme". Each year, 12 executives will be fully subsidized by the Association to study any Diploma or Professional Diploma programmes of their choice offered by the Association. The value of the annual Scholarship is worth around HK$300,000.
As stated by Mr Glover Chan, Senior Manager (Acting) of the Association, "The over-whelming response of the `HKMA 40th Anniversary Scholarship` offered by the Association in 2000 was a valid proof of the determination of the working executives to further improve and develop themselves so as to meet the challenges ahead through continuing education. We therefore set up this Annual Scholarship Scheme to cultivate the sprit of life-long learning and to help nurture talents for the society."
All scholarship applicants should be secondary school graduates or above with at least 2 years working experience. They are required to send in the application form together with a write-up, either in English or Chinese, of around 200 words relating to the topic: "In a downturn economy, how important is `Continuous Learning` or `Life-long Learning`?" A Selection Committee will award the scholarships to 12 applicants based on their submissions and background.
Applicants can choose one of the following Diploma and Professional Diploma programmes in their application to the Scholarship Scheme: |
