MR PETER WOO, CHAIRMAN OF HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, SPEAKS AT THE HKMA 17TH SUSAN YUEN MEMORIAL LECTURE

Mr Peter Woo GBS JP, Chairman, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will
deliver a speech on "New Frontiers for Hong Kong Firms: A World of
Unique Opportunities" on Monday,
23 September 2002 at the Seventeenth Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture organized
by The Hong Kong Management Association.
Organized by the Association`s Theme Year Working Party, the Seventeenth
Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture is the highlight of the Association`s whole
year activities focusing on the theme of "New Frontiers for Hong
Kong in the 21 st Century". The dinner lecture is also the seventeenth
in the series of annual memorial lectures organized since 1985 in recognition
of the late Mrs Susan Yuen`s contribution to Hong Kong`s business community.
During the occasion, the Presentation Ceremony of the Award for Excellence
in Training 2002 will also be held. Organized by the Human Resources Development
Management Committee of the Association, the Award aims at giving public
recognition to trainers and their companies for the achievements and contributions
that training can make to corporate results.
