HKMA Luncheon Talk on "Which Way the Markets" 7/1/2002
In this annual fellowship luncheon talk, the panelists will discuss with participants their views on major currency and interest rate movements, oil price, state of US economy, Wall Street and China, and the likely ramifications for Hong Kong business and the stock market in the year ahead. The talk will be most relevant to those who own shares, stock options and are invested in a pension fund. The panelists who will give their views on the topic include Mr Ian Perkin, Assistant Director/Chief Economist of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Mr Jake van der Kamp, Financial Columnist of South China Morning Post Publishers Ltd and Mr Stephen Brown, Head of Research of Kim Eng Securities.
