Professor Richard Petty is Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau, former Global Chairman of CPA Australia,Board member of the International Federation of Accountants in New York, and Chair/ Deputy Chair/ Board member of numerous other companies. Richard is Professor (Accounting and Finance) at Australia's leading Business School,Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and has lectured at several other leading universitiesincluding Stanford Graduate School of Business, Cambridge University, andThe University of Hong Kong. He has authored several books, more than 200 papers published in leading academic and professional journals, and he serves on several editorial boards. Richard has received international awards for research, and as an educator.Several of his publications are among the top-cited publications in the business disciplines. He was made a Life Member of CPA Australia in 2011 for services to the profession. Richard is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and a member of Young Presidents'Organization (YPO).
