Dr. Paul Gibbs is Professor of Higher Education at Middlesex University where he is Director of Research at the Centre for Education Research. His interests and publications span higher education marketing, happiness, philosophy, professional practice and time. He is Series Editor of Educational Thinker and Debating Higher Education for Springer, holds positions on a number the international higher education journals and has participated in a number of European projects. He has produced ed over 100 academic articles and 18 books, the most recent books include Thinking about Higher Education edited with Ronald Barnett, Transdisciplinary Professional Practice and Learning,The University in the Flux of Time and Work and Practice: New Understandings.
