Ms Clare Wong is an Assistant Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) managing five departments: corporate communication, media and public affairs, marketing and customer services, international and mainland relations and overseas secretariat.

Ms Wong started her career with IBM Corporation in Hong Kong and in Toronto. She joined the Council in 1992, managing its research and information services. In 1999, she took up the challenge of setting up the E-commerce Department and launching the HKTDC's online presence through its website and trade portal www.hktdc.com. In 2005, Ms Wong was appointed Director, Publications and E-commerce. She was promoted to Assistant Executive Director in March 2011, managing more than 30 trade fairs in Hong Kong.

Ms Wong graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science degree and attained a Master of Management from Macquarie University. She attended the Stanford Executive Program organised by the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2010.
