Jim Maguire is the Head of Construction, Power &Infrastructure, Asia, for Aon Risk Solutions.Jim leadsAon’s risk advisory and insurance syndication services to infrastructure clients in respect of Greenfield project development, operational assets and M&A transactions across Asia.

Jim has advised clients on projects across Asia and specializes in multi-party project financings for high contract value infrastructure projects, primarily power and utility (including nuclear and renewable energy), water treatment, and transportation. He has represented both domestic and international project developers, domestic and international commercial lenders, and export credit agencies in relation to these transactions.

Jim holds an M.A. degree (Honors) in Latin American Studies with a focus on Developmental Economics from the University of Texas at Austin (1989); and, a B.S.F.S.from the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University (1986). He has language fluency in English and Spanish and has held professional designations to advise on insurance in both New York and Hong Kong.
