Benjamin Hung is currently Standard Chartered Chief Executive Officer for Greater China. Mr Hung joined Standard Chartered in 1992 and has held a number of senior management positions spanning corporate, commercial and retail banking. Outside of Hong Kong, Mr Hung has international banking experience in the United Kingdom and in Canada. During 2008-2014, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.

Mr Hung is a member of the Financial Services Development Council, and a board member and Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Airport Authority. He sits on the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee and is a member of the General Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Council for Sustainable Development as well as a Council Member of the University of Hong Kong.

Mr Hung holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and is married with two children.
