Biography:

Mark is responsible for driving business growth of AIA’s portfolio 17 markets across the region.

Mark spearheaded the successful,record breaking IPO for the AIA Group on October 2010. Under Mark’s leadership, AIA has been delivering high quality growth with Value of New Business increasing significantly. AIA is nowthe world’s largest independent, listed pan-Asia life insurance group.

Prior to joining AIA, Mark was Group Chief Executive, Prudential plc from 2005-2009, UK’s largest listed life insurer.Mark was also founder Chief Executive of Prudential Corporation Asiaand spearheaded its expansion from 3 to 12 markets.

Mark is an independent board member of Goldman Sachs Inc since November 2012. Mark was a Non-Executive Director of the Court of The Bank of England from June 2009 to May 2012.
