Ms Marjorie YANG Chairman Esquel Group
Marjorie Yang is Chairman of Esquel Group, a leading textile and apparel manufacturer with operations throughout the world, producing nearly 100 million cotton shirts every year. She has a B.Sc. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Ms. Yang chairs the Asia Business Council and the Hong Kong-United States Business Council. She is Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and on advisory boards at Harvard University, Harvard Business School, MIT, and the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. Ms. Yang is also on the boards of Novartis International AG, Swire Pacific Ltd., and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. She is a member of the 10th and 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
